Was traveling all day yesterday and just had a chance to catch up on both games from yesterday and read the gameday post. A few thoughts. Not a great game for SU and a similar game that we have seen before, they struggle against defensively disciplined teams. I think pat march is a really good recruiter but I’m not sold on him as the offensive coordinator. On the flip side, I this John O is a very good d coordinator and 100% head coaching material. As mentioned earlier, it is super early. Back in the golden age of Syracuse lacrosse, this weekend would have been the first scrimmage or the week before the first scrimmage, not the 3rd or 4th game. I hope that we will see some changes on offense with personal mix, if we don’t I would have to question what’s going on in practice. 
Random thoughts from the reactions:
- Desko was a great coach but there is no way he pulls mark, Stevens, kohn and English out of the portal, so there is no way he would have had last years team in final four without them.
- Wildhack did reach out to other top coaches regarding the position when the change was made. He didn’t just walk down the hall and tell Gary to switch offices.
- Big 10 network is a scam.
- John Tillman is the best all around college lacrosse coach in the game. He is a great tactician, tireless recruiter and champions his current and former players. He is 100% all Maryland lacrosse, all the time. It seems like there is no work life balance, no kids, no outside interests, just terps lacrosse.
