Even if they couldn’t be bothered to find out if Max was going to start this year, all they had to do was look at his stats for last year to know he did not belong on this list.

He had to be close to the worst punter out there. Length of punts, hang time, ability to kick the ball OB inside the 20, percentage of punts blocked. He tried his best but he struggled in all aspects of punting.

It’s truly staggering that he is on this list, they only needed to look at our roster and see a different punter who was 100X better than Max was last year. I mean, just put Williams on the list too

This has to be a case of someone saying to an intern, “I hear Syracuse has a good one, put him on the list” and that intern looking at last year’s roster to see who it is. We may see more of this in the NIL/Transfer era.
