The two authors of that article are clueless if SU has a winning record they will be in the tournament, Hopkins made it two years ago at 7-7 with zero decent wins. Syracuse has allready beaten Princeton and has zero bad losses save for maybe Villanova. If Cuse can beat Notre Dame they are in regardless.
plus our RPI will increaseplayingbeating ND conceivably twice in the next few weeks.
Nova loss seems to hurt the most right now. We'd be ahead of them for an at-large if we had beaten them.
Even that is a tall order for this team. Last night's game proved that only one problem has been solved: Maltz is an offensive powerhouse. The only thing we know is SU has work to do. If selections were made today they would be out. But they aren't so it doesn't matter.
Beat GTown, ND, and win 1st rd of BET and they should be in.
Obviously winning the BET locks it up.
Most games with Hobart in Geneva are close.- It is good to see a lot of new faces are getting some time.Even that is a tall order for this team. Last night's game proved that only one problem has been solved: Maltz is an offensive powerhouse.
