Wild season & I don't recall all the moments, but it seems quite a few games could have gone either way & we split the difference.

- GT: 2nd & 6 at Syr 42 w 1:14 left, LQA rips off 24 yards, gets the 1st down & we milk the clock, winning by 3. Don't get that 1st down & GT has about 40 seconds or so to get within FG range. That said, I recall us being in control of this game.

- Stanford: up 1, 4th & 9 from the Syr 45 & we give up a 27 yard play. End up losing by 2 on a last second FG. There were many other soul crushing plays in this unfortunate game. Multiple Kyle interceptions- 71 yard pick 6, etc.

- NC State: won by 7, but we had good control of the game. A game changing moment could be the 2nd & 7 w 10 left in the 3rd, at our 21 yard line, up only 3. Devin Grant forces a fumble which we recover. We then march the field for a TD & 10 point lead.

- VT: won by 7 in OT after Fadil recovers a VT fumble.

- BC: lost by 7, but BC controlled this game, rushing for 300+ to our 39. I couldn't find a single play which doomed us, but maybe others can... 4 straight incompletions after a 19 yarder to OG stalled a drive that would have been a difference maker for us.

- Cal: won by 8 & controlled the game. Offense inexplicably stalled for the majority of the 2nd half giving Cal a punchers chance

-UCONN: won this ground and pound by 7. No real 1 play here that swings it to UConn that I can see, but we were probably 1 defensive letdown from being unhappy.

- Miami: won by 4. The Devin Grant fumble recovery for 6 is probably the one play that really swings things in our favor.

The B.C. game, I wish the onsides kick that we recovered was allowed. I really thought at the time, if McCord gets the ball again, we will score.

That’s usually how it goes for most every team. Lots of fine lines between winning and losing, one play here or there.
