If that is remotely true it ups his value if Cashman wants to deal him at some point. he was very good today . Importantly,he didn't give back the runs the offense gave him. Its also good to see Robinson show up big as zderek goes into one of his driving the ball into the dirt slides as he has recently . Even his foul balls are slammed into the turf. Kevin Long will be getting him on the T to level off his swing pretty soon Im guessing. Nick is working the count better and that helps a lot getting him on base with walks.

The game was in an American League park. Kuroda has faced worse lineups already this season.

Kuroda had not pitched well against the Mets historically prior to last night, so there goes your theory.

And why do you think Cashman would deal Kuroda (or Hughes) during the season? What would be the objective of one of these deals? Starting pitching? Another bat? Please explain what you'd be looking to accomplish.

Pro players dont swing level. The are taught to swing down on the ball, which creates backspin, which creates lift. (This from a friend of mine who played in the A's system and who was 3rd in the country in hitting in his Jr. year of college.)

Kuroda has pitched well going into this game. Hughes too. They are settling in now. More worried about CC.

That's just what Cali does! He has suggested trading each one of the starting pitchers at least once this season (maybe not CC, he's just a fatty).
:)

Pitchers? Cali has already gone through the entire starting line-up. :D

Damn you, David Wright. Now Hughes is on the block again.
