Right after that he loses the 8k.It's okay, I've been on a roll lately. It's like in It's a Wonderful Life, "you just can't keep them Bailey boys down"!

Don't ask, don't tell.Did he have a hairy back (asking for Fog)?
Realistically, I'm not sure he improves those weaknesses by returning. Is he going to drastically improve arm strength or velocity? The benefit to coming back is replicating success against a tougher schedule. Beyond that, he probably should hit the draft now. There’s more to it than accumulating yards. He has significant weaknesses that are going to limit his draft position. If they can be improved next year here and improve his draft position significantly, combined with at least equaling what he would expect at his current draft position, strong argument for one more year here.
Is the NFL option not the one where he's betting on himself big time? The fork in the road for Kyle is an interesting one:
Fork 1 - go to the NFL and likely be a day2/day3 selection as a backup or 3rd string qb and start your NFL clock.
Fork 2 - come back to SU, have the opportunity to firmly entrench yourself on SU Mt Rushmore. Potentially play for CFP / Heisman rankings, be BMOC and knee deep in you know what, make a couple milly, and have the potential to play yourself into a day1/day2 draft pick next year.
One is safe while the other is betting on yourself big time and Kyle seems like the type who’s gonna bet on himself.
That’s my hope as well. There’s more to it than accumulating yards. He has significant weaknesses that are going to limit his draft position. So call me a selfish fan.If he’s a fourth rounder at best he should
Go
We are being selfish fans otherwise. The kid gave us so much. It’s best for him to go now.
Also only first round draft picks get a guaranteed contract. Rounds 2 - 7 get a 4 year contract this isn't guaranteed. Currently Kyle's best draft projection is mid 4th round. That contract is work approx. $4.8M spread out over 4 years (AGAIN NO GUARANTEE). Simple math that breaks down to $1.2M / Year. His NIL deal at Syracuse will be worth more than that next year and could very well be double or more.
I’d argue they both are betting on himselfIs the NFL option not the one where he's betting on himself big time?
Yea this is where I'm at. Even if he has the best evaluation process ever and everyone says I love you, you're the best. Draft day comes around in 4 months and the same GM's that paid Daniel Jones a billion dollars are making decisions.Yeah I don’t buy the 4th round is his ceiling. Guys move up and down drastically during the evaluation process. They’ll see how smart he is and what kind of leader he is, that will make a big difference to some of these GM’s. However, unless you’re a sure fire 1st or 2nd rounder. Almost anything can happen on draft day, like falling to the 6th round.
If Kyle went in the fourth round, his signing bonus which would be about $500,000 is guaranteed. Also only first round draft picks get a guaranteed contract. Which is around 200K post-tax and agent fees. He'll be making that annually plus a bonus by the time he is in his early 30s doing B2B biz dev work for some firm with Cuse ties after our magical run next year.If Kyle went in the fourth round, his signing bonus which would be about $500,000 is guaranteed.
That's just the bonus...not his salary.Which is around 200K post-tax and agent fees. He'll be making that annually plus a bonus by the time he is in his early 30s doing B2B biz dev work for some firm with Cuse ties after our magical run next year.
COME BACK AND BE A LEGEND KYLE

If other eligible QBs are his bar I think next season as of now stinks. Sellers and Manning are too young. Nico from UT had a bad year. Maybe Nussmeier is good. Lots of question marks.I continuously see this talk of next years draft class being “considerably worse” than next year but i just don’t see that from right now. obviously we’re over a year out and things will change, Only QB I can think of that would be a guranteed first round pick is Allar. It’s been said many times Arch won’t declare after only playing one season and will play out his eligibility but obviously that could change. Then there’s Klubnik, Lamaleava, Nussmeier, etc.
That is the argument for staying. I don't think Kyle's draft position will be hurt by staying. I believe that the odds of it improving are good. Not a sure thing but solid. He gets a guarantee pay day. Significant money and worst case ends up in about the same draft position next year. Staying seems like a solid choice. There’s more to it than accumulating yards. He has significant weaknesses that are going to limit his draft position. Bottom line is if this is all true, he still has a tough decision to make. Put yourselves in his shoes. When he started at Ohio St. he probably thought he would be going to the league at this point. I know some in his family are pushing for him to go to the NFL. But I also saw him in San Diego and he loves this team,, the players, the coach and the program. Does another year really help him, or is this his moment to move on? If I were him, I would not be able to sleep at night. I assume there is a lot of talking going on with NFL scouts and coaches to get a better feel. A good backup spot can lead to big things. He also knows our schedule for next season, and will he be able to shine as much? So much to think about for a young man and his entire future
