McCord

We went to visit my Aunt & Uncle in Louisiana that year in hopes we could find some tickets to the Sugar Bowl. Ended up watching it in the French Quarter (I was only 13 so couldn’t fully enjoy New Orleans the ) but I’ve hated Auburn and Pat (Tie) Dye ever since.

The family stopped in New Orleans on the way going across the country. During Happy Hour we stopped in a bar with twenty cent oysters. I ordered a dozen and sat my three kids on bar stools and they ate raw oysters. That’s New Orleans.

All I know is the University better be aggressive in threatening legal action Now and not After

With the University's lawyers on speed dial.

McCord won’t risk a lawsuit. He’s gotta decide on the nfl draft.

What could go wrong with a 20 cent oyster? Am I right? Lol

That’s funny, the first thing I thought of as well. I had oysters in New Orleans about twenty years ago and wondered, as I consumed every last one, about the wisdom of ordering oysters in such a warm weather place.

They are definitely waiting until Christmas morning to announce Kyle’s return and give us the best Xmas ever!! (I have zero inside info and am completely delusional)

Isn’t New Orleans known for Oysters?

Definitely enjoyed my Maine oysters more than my New Orleans oysters.

We were there in May, and $20-25 for a dozen in a fancy restaurant is the going rate.
Paid about the same, maybe a bit less, in the Florida Keys the August before.
Both places they were sensational.

In Nawlins, they invented Oysters Rockefeller and a grilled oyster with garlic and seasonings that are just nuts. Those are some meaty, tasty oysters.

I know the ones up north might be a bit sweeter from the colder water, but they're also a bit smaller. The ones from the Pacific Northwest are like giant pillows, and have about as little flavor.

That's the extent of my culinary experience with those pearl spitting crustaceans.

I was spoiled by the oysters in Portland at a seaside restaurant. The oysters were literally two minutes removed from the ocean.
