Sedgwick has been the varsity girl's lacrosse coach at Christian Brothers Academy since 2005. In 2011, he coached the team to the New York State Championship, was named All-Central New York Girls Coach of the Year and won the Reed Hawk Sportsmanship award from the Syracuse Sports Corporation.
