McQueary on CBS tonight

Here we go. This is going to be the legal version of a UFC heavyweight match between the DA's/McQueary and Team Pedophile (Sandusky and Rapist Lawyer).

Make no mistake...mud WILL be slung.

"I did stop it, not physically, but made sure it was stopped when I left that locker room," The Morning Call reported.

I didn't see the Costas interviews last night but I can see now how Sandusky and his lawyer might well weasel their way out of this mess. The problem is testimony. Some of these victims are now grown men who may not want to come forward and risk revealing in a public forum that this actually happened to them. I think Sandusky's lawyer's calculation at this point is that the possibility of public shame/humiliation and reliving this horror is going to outweigh any anger or outrage they may have for what was done to them as children. There's a reason why most rape victims don't come forward to report their crimes.

Maybe he can explain this?

@PatriotNews has an email from McQueary saying he did talk to police. Direct contradiction of grand jury

I think McQuerry is gonna open up a can of whoopass on the cover up.

Hopefully he did so in a way that left a trail.

I couldn't tell from the espn article linked above, but I don't think the email is from 2002; it sounds like it's a current email refuting the grand jury testimony.

Well, if he contacted police, it would be great to be able to say, "Check my cell phone records, I called the police at this number right afterward," or some such. Or the name of someone he spoke to in person, and date/time.

I'm guessing he is referring to Schultz as "the police". Which of course is ridiculous. The guy had some authority over the University police budget.

will be interesting. psu supposedly has their own zip code, their own police, their own med fafcilities etc. he could claim telling schultz was telling the police. if he goes on and disputes what the gj testimony says and with paterno already having said the gj testimony was nit correct, i wonder just what is going on with the ag.

useless spot

Its not a contradiction of the Grand Jury Presentment. The Grand Jury wasn't investigating McQueary's actions so their report may not have had reason to detail McQueary's actions specifically. Remember what everyone has seen is not testimony, its a summary report of what the Grand Jury felt happened based on the testimony it received.

Could be that what McQueary actually did or said didn't make it into the Presentment because (i) he wasn't asked the right question/given an opportunity to give that testimony - remember it wasn't his actions that the Grand Jury was investigating or (ii) whoever drew up the Presentment didn't find it relevant to the charges which centered on Sandusky's conduct and the failure to report by Curley and Shultz.

See Point #3 in this article. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...11/15/sandusky.legal/index.html#ixzz1doCzmYpu

i disagree i'm beginning to think that his credibility maybe eroding, they will attack what will become inconsistant actions and statements----not doubting what had happenned but question how it was presented by him.---again this will go deep into pa. --very deep--i'm rooting for the fbi to find the answers

What has McQueary presented? He hasn't given a complete public statement to anyone that I have seen.
