Put this in your negative recruiting against the zone pipe and smoke it:

“He’s been our best defender,” Clifford said.

You can consider Clifford a longtime fan of Carter-Williams’ work. Clifford coached him in Charlotte during the 2017-18 season and really likes how the guard can defend.

“He’s been disruptive; he contains the ball. He’s an elite-level defender, elite,” Clifford said. “He can guard primary players, [and] he’s one of the few guys who can guard I’ve ever seen that can both guard the guy without getting beat and then steal it, and in this league, that’s very rare.

Leaner, stronger Michael Carter-Williams continues to do ‘little things’ for Magic

Can't be. He played zone. At least to read some folks on here.

Cant be he came from SU

Article said MCW put on 15 pounds of muscle while keeping his body fat the same.

Dion claims he “neglected his family” this summer while putting in so much time in the gym.

Hope it pays off and both of them have healthy seasons.

Jerami should do well in Denver. Hoping to see all 3 of them playing nice roles for playoff teams.

Grant is the best cuse player in the league right now, by far.

I agree, if Dion can stay healthy though who knows. He seemed to be well on his way to carving out a nice clutch role in miami before his last injury

Etan made a nice career out of exactly that.
Ditto Jason Hart.

And Jerami’s doing a very good job in that regard as well.
Loved Etans game at Cuse and how he represented in the NBA. His knack for that left handed controlled block was crazy and after a couple years in the S&C program was just huge dude. You can tell he had a great work ethic. Equally as impressive has been his post NBA career, if not more. Man he is a guy who would have been a great coach from so many different aspects. Would have loved seeing him spend time as an assistant at Cuse before head coaching somewhere.
