Yeah, he can & does rebound too. Seriously, he brings exactly what we need (pass first, under control play, good decisions, rebounding, intensity, does the little things that win bball games).

I'm sure JB gets 99% of all of his decisions right. This, to me, is the clear 1% instance. I just don't get it. I want to scream, actually.

Yeah, I'm beginning to feel the same way. Scoop picked things up and made some big plays in the second half and Waiters deserves every minute he gets. But when up 13 or 14 with 2 minutes left, since JB chose to keep MCW on the bench, its a pretty good indicator that he's there to stay. Anyone know why exactly? I know there was a little fallout between them about 6 weeks ago but MCW did play some since then. Has there been a setback in their relationship? Or does JB simply feel that he's not capable of contributing yet?

I really like MCW. But my repeated impression from earlier this season is that his handle is not super reliable (which is pretty weird given the position he plays, so maybe I just have a massive misimpression.) Anyway, his vision is obviously off the charts. But I have a tough time criticizing with the Triche/Waiters/Scoop rotation given what seems like less than full confidence on the ball sometimes -- almost like he's got to dribble from too high up.

This is quite similar to BlueCurtains theory that JB gauges the crowd reaction to figure out who to pull early.
And if you are giving me some credit, thank you, looked like I helped coach a good one today.
Has anyone seen SyracuseFan and BlueCurtain together?

Oh, and PS, I feel bad for you about the outcome of todays game...must be kind of upsetting.

I admit I'd like to see a little time for MCW. He looked good in the UCONN game, and I'm curious why we don't see a little of him, especially once the game seems to be in hand. And by a little, I do mean a little. I'm not saying this because I am down on the other guards like some are, but I think he's good enough for the present, for at least a few minutes a game which would also help him progress for the future. Rak hasn't seen a lot of time either(albeit more than MCW), but seemed to do well when needed today.

As others have said, it may be time to give up on seeing MCW now though, because if JB didn't do so earlier, he is unlikely to change during the tournament.
