[I]Syracuse grabs the top spot in the Cascade/Maverik Media Poll for Week 11 after its ACC championship.

The Orange face Colgate next weekend and are hoping to earn the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament come Selection Sunday.

Previously-No. 1 Notre Dame falls to No. 2 after its ACC semifinal loss. The Irish are followed by Denver, which is at No. 3 and has won seven straight games ahead of the Big East tournament. North Carolina and Duke round out the top five, followed by Maryland.

Colgate makes the biggest leap in the poll, coming in at No. 13 after locking up the Patriot League championship.

Johns Hopkins (No. 17), Army (No. 18) and Richmond (No. 20) enter the poll.[/I]
