[I]Syracuse has climbed to No. 1 in both polls after receiving all 19 first-place votes in the USILA DI Coaches' Poll. The Orange were also first in Monday morning's Cascade/Maverik Media Poll.

The coaches' poll also has Notre Dame at No. 2, but North Carolina at No. 3 instead of Denver. The Pioneers and Duke are tied for the fourth ranking, with Maryland at No. 6.

Entering this week's polls is Johns Hopkins at No. 16, as well as Army (No. 18) and Fairfield (tied for 19th).[/I]
