Cascade/Maverik Media Poll: Hofstra Enters Top 10; Four New Teams in Top 20
The Cascade/Maverik Media Poll for Week 3 has been released by Inside Lacrosse.
There are changes abound, with Hofstra moving up into the Top 10, Johns Hopkins and Virginia taking big falls, and four new teams overall featured in the Top 20.
Hofstra moved to 2-0 and beat Princeton a week after toppling UNC, causing the Pride to move to No. 9 in this week's rankings. North Carolina, winners over Johns Hopkins, moved ahead one to No. 10.

- Towson is up to No. 11 after beating Georgetown (which moves out of the Top 20)
- Hopkins moves to No. 13 from No. 8 after losing to UNC
- Virginia falls to No. 14 from No. 10 after a week in which it lost to High Point and beat Penn
- Maryland falls to No. 8 from No. 4 after losing to Yale
- Harvard is up to No. 12; the Crimson have won three OT games
- Villanova, Marquette, Rutgers and Boston University have all entered the Top 20
