The amazing thing about Christmas is that he's picked up his game right when his aggressiveness should be compromised. With no backup center, he has to play more cautiously -- but it hasn't had any negative effects. Amazing.

Rakeem has been a legitimate godsend this year. his play tonight was literally the only reason we weren't down 20, let alone accidentally capable of winning the damn game.

If all of our team ever shows up at once, and Rak plays like this, holy mother of god, there would be no hope for anybody in the NCAA.

Maybe thats what makes us more special than anybody else, when everybody can't get out of their own way, one guy plays like a superhero and takes over (see Cooney vs. ND a while back) and everythign is just as fine as if 4 guys played very well.

The injuries to DC and Baye have brought out the best in him.
