My son is on a junior track team and there was a meet this morning in New Brunswick, NJ. Big Ralph Dalton was there because his daughter was competing. I have seen him before in Manhattan, but never approached him. Since I had my Cuse hoodie on, I had to go up to him. I said, "nice to meet you, no offense" - as I pointed to the logo on the front.
Couple of nuggets from the conversation:
Thought the Hoyas were talented, but lacked toughness.
And that the Cuse-G'Town rivalry was over, because he feels that there is no way they will play again.
I regret that I didn't say, "It's 9am and Georgetown still sucks!"
