Jesus H I completely forgot this chumpstain changed his name.

Amazed some people do like this and then want people to take them seriously.

Watching the Lakers-Celtics game last night, hearing Marv Albert say something like "World Peace with the shot" or Steve Kerr who just called him Peace, how weird and goofy is that? Do you really think Kobe calls him Metta? Crazy.

What in the name of World. B. Free was he thinking?

If you had the rap sheet associated with the name 'Ron Artest', you'd change your name too. ;)

I wonder if he punches people who still call him Ron?

He is awful. His usefulness is pretty much gone, so he resorts to thuggishness about 90% of the time now. Just trying to get draw the ire of the other teams forwards by under cutting their legs and pushing them after the whistle. You know...the way the game was meant to be played. :bang:

Ugh..terrible.

Call me old fashioned but in the same way Jabbar was always Alcindor to me, Ali is still Clay. At least World B just changed his first name.
The great thing about Artest is he did this name change thing right when he is fading off the stage.

Well at least the Big East roots never went away.

Even stranger when you hear... "World Peace gets rejected!"
