I often wonder how good at his job this guy is, given his rant. What if people came to watch him work and was under the microscope, like these college athletes are currently. I also wonder how focused and motivated he was when he was 19 or 20 when he was in college, whether he was on some sort of scholarship/financial aid or not. I wonder how good he was at sticking someone when he played modified football (if he got even that far).

I can take former players criticizing these guys; I have a hard time listening to a radio jock talking tough like he is/was a great player.

The sad thing is that ever since Jim Rome got famous for his "Chrissy Everett" crap 20 years ago that a lot of sports talk show guys think that ranting is good radio. There is so much crap on sports talk radio around the country now that most of it is unlistenable(real word?).

That was amazing. Love the passion. Went a little overboard in a public setting but if I heard that in the lockeroom I'd be fired up. (unless I played for the Saints)

Edit: just read the above posts. Agree with the sentiment that it shouldn't be on the radio but as a fan I've said similar to worse things when talking about SU sports and Bills football.
