If MSU wanted to hire a good meth lab guy, they only needed to look 15-20 minutes away from the campus in the rural areas. If there is a random house-like place set back off the road a ways surrounded by a barbed wire fence and a militia flag, it is a safe bet there is some meth going on in there. Other stuff too, but also meth. These guys aren’t poster children for being discreet.
