I saw on twitter it's a blackjack guy (Tilman Fertitta's friend) bet Michigan 25k at 40-1 to win the whole thing

Are those tickets the same as cash, or do they keep an electronic record of them at the casino? Like, if he lost that thing is he just out of luck?

I had a 100-1 bet on Syracuse in 2009-2010 (placed when we were unranked before the season began, because I had seen Wes Johnson in practice during the previous season). We wound up a #1 seed going into the tourney, but then Arinse's injury ended it all for us).

So if he bets like 3-400K to win 5-600k. on Vill and clears 2-300K and wins 1 million of Michigan wins and can claim big losses. Or does he let it ride.
