He's a weapon in the red-zone but just such a bozo.
How is he a weapon - we ran the same play without him and scored as well. I don't get the love affair with the kid. We don't throw to him enough so his impact is minimal. In fact if it weren't for PF's that he gets every game I wouldn't know he is out there.

I wasn't able to watch the 2nd half. What did he do this time? He must be a good blocker because I haven't seen him do anything the passing game that our other TE's can't do.

End of the 1st half he drew an unsportsmanlike penalty on a punt return.
Backed us up 15 yards.
Made the difference between a FG at the end of the half or a potential TD.

I think SWC's question this week to Babers should be: "Coach, Ravian Pierce has more Unsportsmanlike penalties than catches this year. The starting TE for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill would catch the touchdowns he's had. Can you help me understand why he continues to play?"

Haven't seen it mentioned on the board yet, but Butler got benched for his false start penalty late in the game and I don't think he went back in.
Have to believe his time is coming to an end. I'll be really interested to see who gets the start. He missed last week for breaking team rules and then gets benched Saturday for a false start penalty; and had zeros across the board as is. Not sure how you can keep running him out there, he doesn't do anything on the field except block. Harris' production at this point > than Butler's blocking.
Butler - 12/120 0-TD 12avg
Harris - 15/240 1-TD 16avg
and regarding Harris. His last 3 games are:
Clemson - 3 for 66
Pittsburgh - 4 for 64
UNC - 5 for 51
