First of all does anyone know the extent of his injury and if he is expected back at full speed this fall?
If he is back do those in the know expect him to start opposite Diesal? In my mind unless the Juco or one of the frosh step up Googins and Michah look to be a pretty good pair of book ends. The other combo would be Googins and Sharpe. Donnie is too small to be an everydown DE more of a specialist. Thoughts? Thx

It seems that the only ones in danger of missing the fall was Lyn and Lemon. But even they seem good to go. So I assume that Robinson will be a go in August. I think that he will start opposite of Goggins (if he stays there). Sharpe, JPB and Simmons will all be specialty pass rushers.

Also, do not forget about Garrick. He is a big, every down DE. If his knee is healthy he could be another solid DE option. I could also see him redshirting. Wildcard is Welsh. I never thought he was athletic enough to play outside or big enough to play inside.

I really think Sharpe is the guy who replaces Chandler on the pass-rush side. He spent a lot of time in that slot while Chandler was hurt. Robinson was doing laps around the Dome with Keon last week while the rest of the team practiced. I know he had an ankle or foot injury, so that's probably a good sign.

Blood- interesting comment about Welsh. It makes sense- Marrone recruited him originally to play guard, not defense.

Robinson will be back soon and Lemon will be back for the summer; Fall camp at the latest. I would count on Robinson starting at one of the ends; I would be highly surprised if he did not, Marrone loves the kid and he has the talent and measurables to be a big time player. He's longer and stronger than Chandler the only question is how will his first step be ?

Out of those 3 no doubt Goggins will get a lot of PT if he stays at DE. Got to think Sharpe and Micah will both get a good amount of run. Sharpe has a good deal of experience and Mica seems like more of a complete package every down DE to me. Loved his film coming in. There is a couple clips with a lot of good footage of him in high school at this link:

In that class most people were stoked about Beaulieu with his stars and offers coming in but based on film I was way more excited about Micah. Mica did have a Pitt offer if I recall. Really excited about him.

Out of Simmons and Manley this year I would have to say I am much more excited about Manley. Even though Simmons has more prototypical height and weight Manley's measureables aren't bad either and he looks to have more ability. Better burst, short area quickness and strength. Simmons legs are pretty skinny.

garrick may not make it with acl tear not sure if schollie still there... MPB will start no doubt

risking ridicule here but who is garrick? is he listed somewhere
