BTW, I can't let this go (I love car wrecks), but I think we're getting pretty close to a full-fledged coaching controversy in Happy Valley. Saquon Barkley covered up a lot of coaching sins.

The Ped State fanbase has tolerated Franklin b/c of the results, but they've never embraced him. I think it's turning, and it could turn quickly, especially with all those St. Joe Pa guys still on the Board of Trustees.

He's being blistered for playing musical QB's at the end of the game. He brought Stevens in, then inexplicably brought McSorley back into a lost cause of a game, then he flipped them back and forth.

Conventional Wisdom is that he's a real good recruiter who can't coach on gameday.
