The best argument for a multiple offense is that your defense gets prepared for lots of things. Part of why they couldn't defend before is because Gerg is, in fact, worthless but another part of it is that they spent all their time practicing against a peculiar offense.

i'm still not a fan of multiple what is our identity offenses, i'm just saying if i had to argue for it, i might go the route of pointing out the added bonus of a better prepared defense

Just like WVU had no idea how to stop a tight end... or we had no idea how to stop a qb who could run without fumbling...  air raid teams can't stop the run because they never practice running

multiple prostyle offenses aren't as effective in terms of offensive yards, but maybe it helps your defense. very hard to prove though because so many of the factories can indulge their pro style meathead tendencies because they're so loaded.
