Clemson self-image is why we gave the famous line: "South Carolina -- too small to be a country, too large to be an insane asylum." And the John Calhoun house is still a noted landmark in the campus area. FSU is the school trying to become a peer with UF. I think their admin content with ACC. Football backers not do much.
