There is only so much either one can do in inside play until they can add strength. We simply do not have adequate offensive rebounding, or inside scoring overall. Frank can play better ( we saw that last season) but how much more can we expect from Hughes, Tyus and Buddy? I think Carey will need to improve in the off-season, and earn his role next year.
