I'll say this and I think this is where Gottlieb is hanging his hat, but it does not quite fit.  This was a [B]very[/B] weak bubble year. Among the weakest. There are a lot of years in the last decade where our 19-13, 9-9 resume would [B]NOT[/B] have earned an at-large. But this year, we were comfortably in. Sorry Doug, we timed our "pedestrian" regular season perfectly. Was that a tactical decision? No. But it was the reality of the bubble scenario at hand. I like Gottlieb in some ways. He calls it like he sees it.
