Everything you raise about recruiting is true, but I'll take it a step further and point out that from an organizational standpoint Mike has had an inordinately large proportion of the day-to-day responsibilities of running the program compared to what most #2 guys have. He has also been instrumental to keeping the team running by being the guy in charge of the off court stuff. Boeheim has a completely laissez-faire approach to what his players do off the court and I worry about what will happen without Mike around.
