I'm not quite sure if those stories are tailored to me personally (kind of like Google will personalize it's advertisements to people) or if that's how it is for every Facebook user in the world.

If its the latter, that's pretty cool.

I'm almost positive it is tailored to location. Because I quite often have Kansas City area stories trending on mine that don't seem like they would have nationwide interest.
