Great spot for him. Special teams alone he'll be nearly impossible to cut. And in that division, his skill set fits perfectly into all those specialty nickel and dime packages they run. They need cover guys who are sound against the run. That's literally Mikel's MO. There might not be one better.

I was going to say I thought Indy would scoop him up, that's where all of our undersized LBers go and play

Special Teams play will be vital for Mikel to stick at the next level

Hope so. I think Franklin was a better player. Also more stout (10 lbs. heavier).
