I never claimed we have a great anything. Nor have I compared our running game to that of teams I haven't seen play which is why I questioned the statement made that 'BC's OL is better than MN's' and nobody has actually compared the two OLs even still, lol. My guess is because the people saying that haven't seen MN play. Now after viewing the two if you choose to make a comparison you'll actually have something to compare. Its like me saying my girl is prettier than yours because mine is pretty even if I've never seen yours. For some reason I don't think folks are getting that or maybe nobody likes to admit that they're just making blind statements. As for MNs OL we're by no means 'great' but its a solid line that does a good job getting hats on hats but isn't great at getting a ton of push at this point. Our C and LG are true road graters so on powers to the right we're fairly effective pulling the LG (Epping) and kicking out ends or getting to the second level. Most of our runs utilize a pulling guard or a pulling TE as our TEs are often glorified tackles anyway (think Stanford lite). Where we struggle is against really good LBs as our line still isn't the most athletic group so LBs can shoot the gaps against us. And really what killed us against WI and to a lesser extent MSU was that their safeties got really involved in the run game as we couldn't exploit their corners on the outside in the passing game so they kept 8 in the box. Cobb is a really good back for where we're at now because his vision allows him to find creases and slip through. Kirkwood, our backup, is a straight ahead, hit the hole guy and we're not at the point where we're opening huge holes for that type of back which is why his numbers suck this year.
