Im exteremly excited about MCW and Cooney and what they can bring to the table but do you guys remember Tony Wroten who loved Cuse and wanted to commit but we wouldnt offer him. Well he just put up 23 points on 8-12 shooting! Im surprised we passed on such a stud. He will win the Pac-12 Freshman of the year

Wroten looked very smooth, and explosive. However, he was a bit out of control in the first half - 5 TO's. He didn't put up in the second half though. Solid game - not sure we were ever close to a lock. Kid seemed schizophrenic with all tweets about his schools/wishlist. Although we were always getting lots of love via Twitter.

MCW will be around a bit (at least 2 years) - a better fit for the program and no baggage.

I could be wrong, but from what I recall Wroten seemed like a Mayo type of ego who thought he was going to dictate where he'd go and got mouthy whenever anyone suggested he might not be as good as he thought, or a school if they didn't recruit him.

He's a good player but seems like a punk.

Wroten wrote and tweeted a lot of stuff ... but he was headed for Washington from the git go ... especially after the injury.
