Mizzou's Starting Tailback Out for the Year

They've had a really tough preseason so far. Their S&C coaches must not have a clue what their doing... or something ridiculous like that.

I never root for any player to get injury, but seeing as how this guy is already out, I'll take any advantage that I can get.

Shouldn't their trainers be looking into their S&C program? Clearly they have a problem with what these kids are doing in the off season? Crazy...

Torn ACL is usually not the S&C coach.

You play golf with Casullo and Hicks? Who rounds out your foursome?

Yes, because Casullo was the problem on special teams, all his fault. They actually got worse last year, and if you read enough posts here people are blaming Hicks' for injuries now as well as if Syracuse has a bunch more injuries than any other 1a program. I am not a huge Hicks fans by any means, I think he does a great job with the lineman and guys that need size/mass but posess great athletic frames such as C Jones, Freeney and guys like Kimmel as well, works well on their explosiveness as well. I don't like the work he does with the skill guys, too much power and sacrifices speed, it seems that our running backs get slower as their career's progresause they put on too much bulk.
Reyes, Rhodes, Bailey, etc etc

My issues with Hicks go back the infamous Dumas gut of 2002.

Complaint is and has been too much bulk, not enough elasticity/stretching, etc.

Hicks couldnt touch his toes if a donut was sitting on top of them

Certainly, He does great with guys that can add weight, need to add weight but who are great athletes naturally. Can list 10-15 guys. Hicks is much much better than people give credit for, much better.

I would agree, ton of fat ass phys ed teachers out there thought as well. Respect the guys like Drummond, M Paul, S&C guy who are still in fantastic shape. Talk the talk wlak the walk. Hicks could at least lose some weight.

I believe those would be valid. I don't like what he does with the speed guys at all. Perfect for a guy like Freeney though, who needs the size and power but doesn't lose the expolsiveness.
