Owners want to break the players. The players will sit out. The sport will suffer. The middle class in baseball has been destroyed. Make FA after 4 years and players would get paid in the primes more. After 6 years players who aren’t elite aren’t going to get paid. Have more 25-26 year old FAs and teams will pay longer contracts.
