They are doing some pace of play changes, but I don’t think it’s enough.
(To go to the analytics issue, what if baseball changed the rule so that so ANY ball over the wall was a double?   Go to a 4 ball, 2 strike rule. That would stop people from trying to work for walks.  I hope the robot balls and strikes work.
For the history folks, the would just be a new “era” like we actually have now for the time period since the “dead ball” era. )
