If we won a recruit over App State and Coastal Carolina you'd be concerned about that to. Perspective.

It's not just him. We seem to have a hard time closing on guys (with a couple of exceptions) with any kind of decent offers and our NE recruiting rivals are recruiting strongly. Bassette was a great get. I just worry this class is going to be a bunch of plan B's and hurt the future of the program.
The ironic thing is I think this is the best staff (recruiting and coaching) we've had under Dino-It's just hard when others are whispering about 1-10 and hot seat. I wish we had this staff a few years ago instead of Dino's FIL and Kim McCloud. As I posted elsewhere, might need to go full bore after transfers (who also have the benefit that they can't transfer again until they graduate)

I hear you-Will be interesting to see who the 3 guys are. I definitely think Wilson is one of them and hope Price is one of the others.

I like that they’re not giving into Plan B‘s right now. They’re really making the effort to identify and pursue the best they can reasonably get. What more can we do at this point?

I agree I thing if we can get a really get off to a good start this season winning games that will make us more appealing to the top target recruits we are pursuing.

Great view here. We don't always know what the kid's processes are. So much can happen. For all we know he loved the school and could see himself playing here IF it was closer to home. I dreamed of attending SU and was excepted and even got to the point where I was prepared to enroll. The day I needed to decide I just got a feeling I belong closer to home at a smaller school.
