I think next CBA and it will include NL getting the DH as well.
Put a team in Portland and Montreal.
Relocate the Tampa Rays to Nashville or Charlotte and call it a day.

Portland

Seems like yesterday we were talking about contraction.
It’s good, but then you elimate a wild card.

In a year like this when both the sux and Yankees each win 100+, it would be a shame to see them sit out while some 83 win team plays on.

I would think their would be atleast 1 wild card and they would play the worst division winner in a 1 game playoff.
As Red Sox-Yankees can’t only have 1 team of 2 in the playoffs by rule every year.

See I think we are in the golden age of pitching.
It’s not like the steroid era anymore.
Pitching has become stronger because of players swinging for home runs and not caring about Ks.

One wonders if Triple a will go to a similar set up instead of the unbalanced divisions we have now. I've always hated the fact that the Chiefs are in a 6 team division and everybody else is in four team divisions.

Actually what i really like to see is four 8 team divisions/leagues at all levels. Have the pennant winners play for eh championship. The 8 team concept worked just fine for 60 years. I hate wild cards, mini-divisions and cold weather baseball!
