Four years earlier, he'd made his own miracle catch against the Patriots, pressing the ball against his helmet as he tumbled to the turf. The Giants brought him back for this Super Bowl as a good-luck charm. Tyree, mostly a special teamer, never caught another pass in the NFL.

Former Giants WR David Tyree has enlisted a dozen players from this year’s Super Bowl titlists to participate in “David Tyree’s Charity Bowl,” a benefit forChildren of the City and The Legacy Center, on Tuesday night, June 5, at “300 NYC” (Pier 60 Chelsea Piers) in New York City at 6:30 PM.

Joining Tyree will be Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, and champion stalwarts Justin Tuck, Victor Cruz, Jason Pierre-Paul, Chris Canty, Jake Ballard, Kareem McKenzie, Michael Boley, Daniel Scott, Terell Thomas, Isaiah Stanbeck and Ramses Barden will all compete in compete in yet another super “Bowl,” and this time the big game is for charity.
