Norlander is wrong. I was told 13 Friday. If that’s the case I expect to have an elite lead guard.

I mean we weren’t top 5 ACC but we spent enough to get talent to get to the dance.

It was a failure of coaching.

Now- the spending this past year was not guaranteed going forward. Hiring GMAC should fix that.

Most of the reports had us at $8M NIL this season and that was supposed to be around middle of the pack in the ACC. So how much more gets us to top 6 in the conference? I assume we will never have the budget of Duke, UNC or Lousiville. So maybe we go from $8M to $10M?

It percolated in January and was quickly shouted down because it was so ludicrous.

Gerry is head coach because the donors said they’d fund him wildly. We need the usual $4 million in direct payments plus another $10 million for NIL. If we come up short then it’s a catastrophe.

I sure hope not. I want us to exceed the minimum viable threshold of $10-12 million that Front Office Sports said tourney teams would need next season. The donor class wanted Gerry. They gotta make him flush with cash.

He also confirmed that he was funding Doty's NIL through the Siena collective, tho did not say what his overall NIL contibution was, according to the Albany Times Union...
