road games 
Mon. played 17 but throw out 7 as they were against awful teams, except they lost 2 of those.
toughest was against USC, they lost, next toughest iona/gtown?
finished a good 13-4,

Su played 10 throw out 2 but we lost one of those.
toughest UNC/UV/Lou/Miami/Duke also Pitt/FSU
so we played 5 clearly tougher road games and 2 more tougher than their 2nd toughest
so played poorly on the road but not even close to compare the schedules

home games
Mon. finished 10-1
toughest home game Iona, they lost but 7 throwaway wins too
really 3-1 in games against teams with a pulse at home

Su played 18 finished 14-4
toughest home was UNC,  with ND, wisc, then GT/Clem/FSU/St bon/VT/Pitt/
so 9 game harder than what Mon. played and 10-4 in games you could lose

Su played 18 games vs really tough teams finished 8-10
Mon played 4 if use Iona as the cutoff and was 3-1

where did they really challenge themselves again?
Iona was no better than NC st in my opinion as they wouldnt have been in without winning the tournament.
