We don’t have reliable special teams right now. Pretty hard to be an ACC contender without a kicker that can nail a field goal.

Second major hesitation I have is our defense. It has looked shaky all year, particularly the pass defense. While some may be schematics such as rushing 3, the veteran DBs have been getting burned all year.

Every game left on the schedule could be won or lost, I truly mean that. Do not overlook UConn, especially the week before Miami. We have already dropped one game against a team we should’ve beat at home. Hoping for an ACC title run but realistically looking at our body of work vs teams on the schedule I think we are looking at 8-9 wins assuming McCord stays healthy which is what I had before the year
