Fine’s accusers, Davis and his stepbrother, Michael Lang, both live in Central New York. A young woman at Davis’ home Friday said he was not there, and she would not speak with a reporter. A September 2007 engagement announcement in The Post-Standard said Davis is a graduate of Henninger High School and Weber College, a state university in Ogden, Utah. Davis was living in Utah when The Post-Standard interviewed him about the allegations in 2002 and 2003. The engagement announcement said Davis was working as an accountant in St. George, a small community in the southwestern part of the state.
Davis loved being near the SU basketball team because he loved the game, he told the newspaper. He said he played AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball and Fine helped him play in college and for a professional team in Germany.
