well everyone has endured the bs for the past ten years. we all know what that has been. the blame game is over. it is clear that we cannot keep a competent coach, as marrone was, WE THINK SMALL,(we look for the under the radar guys) we criticize shafer for bringing in a recruiter and make him a off. coord. (which was a bad move) we have a ad who is has more bs than a used car salesman---the answer rests in syracuse thinking big, paying for big time coaches who can sell the climate, the school and other intangibiles(sp). we have made the investment in the ipf --to keep us competitive, but have not followed up on this. we do not have the academics of :vanderbilt, northwestern,bc,duke, rice, stanford, baylor---most of those have prestigious med schools, law schools, research, and pride in the hx of the school academically. su has none of the above.(save maxwell and newhouse) who do not carry that clout. bandaid game is over, we need to get in or get out. what say bot/chancellor/gross????the FOOTBALL ALUMNI are mia---JB does not have that issue--maybe he should be AD

U okay there bud... Go turn all your lights off and sit in the corner and reflect on life a little

But then what is going to be left to pay the Woman's Lacross coach, or the Track and Field coach, or the badmitten coach? This is Syracuse we have standards. Everyone knows we have to pay the non-revenue sports top dollar. Total backwards thinking. I'm not holding my breathe waiting for them to buck up.

JB as AD? It seems to me that he has a tough enough time shepherding what, 13-15 bball players. I can't imagine him being in charge of the entire sports department.
