More favorable result?

Our only success recently has been in the tournament. JB and others have said the only thing that matters is what you do in the tournament. With that in mind, which would you prefer? Which would say we had a better season ?

I realize neither may be realistic but this is for fun

Casual fans dont remember who did what in the regular season. all that matters is the tourney and i agree.

I think a better question is... would you rather be happy November through mid March and miserable the rest of March or miserable November through mid March and happy the rest of March?

For example

Top 20 all season
Win preseason tournament
Top 4 in ACC
ACCT Semifinal
4 seed in NCAA
Lose in round of 32

Bubble team all year
9th in ACC
Lose first ACCT game
10 seed in NCAA
Elite 8
