I don’t go much anymore, mainly due to product on the floor. More athletic and more defensive effort than we’ve seen in years. The inferior opponent was treated thusly. No let up in terms of pressing, etc. places to improve, certainly, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You can see Red’s vision taking shape. He wants to play a style great players will want to play. Let’s hope for a good Vegas trip, and then onward.
Impressed with Kiyan. Didn’t force much. Knows how to score. Hopefully he will adjust to more athletic competition.

Yep, no doubt. Anthony plays within himself, is composed and in control of his well above average athleticism, has a lot of qualities of his dad from the step back jumper as well finding others with the nice assists, can shoot, is confident yet humble. Lots to like there. Do not think the weight of being Carmelo Anthony’s son is going to be a negative here at all

The point guard is the best we’ve had here in forever and I think Devo was accurate that he is the key to the season. Very heady player scans the court plays composed finds the right people in position to score and looks pretty sweet on the shooting touch.

The other guard looks impressive as well, we need the Australian kid to be a complement to those two by being a good three pt shooter and the athleticism and depth with the rest of the team is unlike anything we’ve seen here in so long I can’t remember.

Want to wait to see how they do in Vegas against that top-flight competition but I think we can be cautiously optimistic on the return to the tournament at least.

Agreed, Captain! When is the last time we have blown out an inferior opponent? I can’t even remember. Our 3 point shooting remains an issue but everything else was SO GOOD.
Except for a few shots, the shot selection was good though. We missed 10 open looks at least. Few bad shots but not many. Even under the worst circumstances they will come around to their usual %'s. Making even 30% put us at like a 50 point win. Especially Kingz and Freeman. Best to get the garbage shooting out of the way now.
