I had no idea that Lawrence Moten and Marvin Graves played HS basketball together in DC.

At the Siena basketball press conference today, new HC Jimmy Patsos mentioned that he had coached both of them. I thought that was interesting to hear about that connections. Speaking of Patsos, he is an interesting personality...full of intensity. My alma mater made an interesting choice.

They also played football together. Moten was a WR, and a damn good one. That's why he loved playing under the basket and through contact. People were always amazed how he would just pop back up after getting thrown to the floor.
