Yep in a year of awfulness this is by far the worst. Which is to say a lot.

I sort of knew it was going to happen but it reached a point where I said even they can’t blow this and then they did. I want to say the players play hard but then I rewatch the inbounds plays and no one is moving of fighting to get open.

Shocked, appalled and more angry than I should be at a team that wasn’t going anywhere anyway.

Watching this game reminded me of playing nba jam at the arcade when the computer basically didn’t let you get it to half court the last 20-30 seconds if you had the lead. It felt like something that would happen in a video game. Losing that lead was unacceptable, period .

Honestly what sucks is that will Jimmy and Buddy’s last game at the Dome and it’s just such a bad way to lose.
They don’t deserve that.
A non-losing season was honestly needed for them.

I just can’t see how JB can’t look at the roster for next year and realize it won’t be better. Tell the recruits they are released from their LOI and just let Wildhack find a new HC.

Next year we would have to play a charming soft nonconference schedule all Patriot, Ivy, MAAC, NEC teams to build enough wins for 20 game ACC schedule.

JW needs to make it known that he expects JB to use the portal to add talent and experience to the roster. It’s as simple as that. We must maximize the talent and can’t go into the season without a full roster.

JMO, but a double digit loss to a Patriot league team and a loss to a sub-.500 team as the #1 ranked team in the Country were each far worse than this.

That this team found a way to lose today down the stretch was not at all surprising - they'd done so on a number of occasions earlier in the year (including to Miami in their first matchup-
