Both teams are coming off impressive non-conference victories and are looking to pick up three points in the league standings. The Orange has given up one tally, tied with Penn State, Michigan State, George Mason, Fairfield, Louisville and Loyola-Chicago for the fewest in Division I soccer. The Orange ranks second nationally in goals-against average (0.17), team save percentage (.950) and leads the country in shutout percentage (.830). In addition, Syracuse has limited its opponents to 47 shots in six games, less than eight per contest. [B]LAST TIME OUT[/B] Syracuse used a pair of early goals to take control of the match and went on to beat Cornell, 3-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the SU Soccer Stadium. [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=10914'][U]Juuso Pasanen[/U][/URL] scored his first goal of the season in the 18th minute. SU outshot the Big Red 11-4 in the second half and finished with a 15-9 advantage in shots. Orange junior keeper [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=10902'][U]Alex Bono[/U][/URL] tallied the 23rd shutout and 28th victory of his career to move into second and third, respectively, on those two SU record lists. [B]SCOUTING THE TIGERS[/B] The Tigers are 4-3-0 overall with 1-0-0 record in the ACC. They are currently on a three-game winning streak after starting the year 1-3. During the winning streak, Clemson has outscored its opponents, 10-1, including a 6-0 drubbing of Gardner-Webb Wednesday. Nine different players have scored for the Tigers in 2014 and no Clemson player has more than two goals. Junior forward T.J. Casner leads Clemson with five points (2 goal, 3 assists). Sophomore Andrew Tarbell and redshirt junior Chris Glodack have split time in net for Clemson thus far. Tarbell has a 3-1-0 record. He's allowed two goals and has two shutouts. Glodack has 20 saves and five goals allowed. He earned his first win of the year in the Gardner-Webb match and is 1-2 on the season.
