'CUSE CLIMBS IN TDS POLL
Syracuse climbed three spots in this week's TopDrawerSoccer.com Top 25 following Saturday's 1-0 loss to reigning national champion Notre Dame. The Orange moved from No. 17 to No. 14 after playing the Irish step-for-step at the SU Soccer Stadium.

ELECTRIC ATMOSPHERE FOR NOTRE DAME MATCH
Orange Nation did not disappoint, coming out in droves for one of the most highly-anticipated Orange soccer matches in recent memory. An SU Soccer Stadium record crowd of 2,442 fans were on hand to watch the home team host No. 4 Notre Dame. The gathering was the first crowd of 2,000-plus ever at the facility, shattering the previous stadium record of 1,803 set against Virginia in 2013.

BONO RECORDS SECOND-LONGEST SHUTOUT STREAK IN TEAM HISTORY
Individual goalie minute have been logged at Syracuse since 1986. Since that season, goalie
Alex Bono's streak of 434:05 without allowing a goal is the second-longest on record. The stretch included four straight shutouts to open 2014 before Notre Dame's Brandon Aubrey snapped the streak with his goal in the 75th minute Saturday.
Bono has two of the four longest shutout streaks in school history. He blanked opponents for 415:20 during his 2012 rookie season.
Chris Whitcomb's streak of 461:59 without conceding a goal in 1986 is the Syracuse record.
FAMILIAR FACE ON THE CORNELL SIDELINE
Big Red head coach Jaro Zawislan will make his second trip back to the SU Soccer Stadium on Tuesday, Sept. 16 when Zawislan's Cornell side takes on Syracuse. Zawislan was Syracuse's assistant coach from 2002-08 before accepting the lead coaching position for the Big Red in 2009.
Syracuse is 2-0-1 in three games against Cornell since Zawislan took charge in Ithaca, including a 1-0 victory in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Championship.
