NC State had destiny on its side this year and they lost to Louisville in S16.
2013-Wichita State beat a #1 seed second round and made the Final Four.
2014- Kentucky beat a #1 seed second round and made the Final Four.
2015 NC State beat a #1 seed second round and lost next round.

Michigan State already lost to Duke in Indianapolis this year back in November. I think the Blue Devils end Michigan State's season on Saturday.

Good comparison, sadly there wasn't a team in last years tournament as good as this years Kentucky team.

I hope not, I win my pool if Mich st can beat duke.

Supposevely some casino owner placed a 20-25 thousand dollar bet on them to win a million at the golden nugget when they were like 40-1 odds.

Yeah he bet $20 K at 50-1 odds. If he were smart he'd hedge himself by making money-line bets on Duke and then on whoever MSU would play in the finals. The Golden Nugget said this $1 mil liability is one of the largest liabilities they have ever incurred with a sports bet.

MSU's celebration makes burning your couch look almost subdued in comparison.

You've fallen for old the historical fallacy, my friend. You are supposing that achieving the same conditions as '14 Uconn will make MSU a champ as well. For some reason, I see this fallacy way more in sports discussions than anywhere else. I wonder if it has to do with sports' reliance on stats and numbers?

It's simply coincidence.

I did not fall for anything. I do not feel MSU will win it all. I merely posted the eerie coincidences between MSU '15 and UConn '14 and made no further comment.

I don't know. That Yvonne squad was mighty plucky.

I sent this picture to a WVU grad co-worker. His response:
"Great!...Our proud image is intact. Appears the quality of burn-ready couches has gone up, you can actually sit in them. And it looks to be a good date night activity these days. They have wussified a great tradition."

Why is your company hiring WVU grads? Who the heck did that?
